Phew. All right.
At this point I've put out the majority of the stuff that I'm going to probably end up typing out today, and have reserved the remainder of the posts I'll need to finish up.
It takes up the entire first page, as intended, so that anyone looking for discussion can jump right to page 2.
If you have anything to say at all, expressions of interest, comments, questions, please, feel free to ask.
Any important questions that I answer I will quote and stick back on page 1, such that everything one might possibly need for this game is all on one page.

I'm interested in playing a water mariner if you have no objections to that
edit: and ryan was wondering if he needs to have an affinity(he is also interested and would like to play a boring, old, normal human leader)

No problems with Water Mariner.
@ryan: The affinity is one of the two fundamental changes I've got. It affects politics and interactions as well as stats, and is an integral part of the game world as currently envisioned. While PCs get an actual choice with their affinity, they must choose one. It is part of the reason everything has become so splintered.
To clarify, as I think it might not be clear and might be the reason why Ryan asked: All PCs also have the standard human traits of [One Bonus Feat at First Level, Increased Skill Points], regardless of affinity.
This latter part makes it to the front page.

The front page, last two posts have been updated with a bit more information, most importantly a blurb about rules and combat, and my best attempt at an example of how I will attempt to narrate.
While I am a bit surprised at the combination, Ryan's choice is also fine.
Addendum: [Minor Sarcasm] Haha! He will have to start making a bit of effort, show up and post if he wants to play. Exactly. As. Planned.

I'd be interested in trying a Steam Sharpshooter, as this looks like a solid way for me spend the ample free time I expect to have during the summer (at least summer nights).

Can't help myself.
"Welcome Aboard."
I will continue to type up the missing information on the first page, such that people can create appropriate character backgrounds and get a better feel for the world.
I have two exams remaining, one Monday at 9am and one Tuesday. Once my studying is finished tomorrow, more of this will make it up there.

The class entry for the Leader base class has been updated with information regarding Aura selection.
My intention is to have all of the information required for players to make Characters and Backgrounds before I move, so that the time frame where I will likely be unable to respond will correlate with some nice time to think for everyone else.
The next major update should take place late Tuesday.

are skills still the same as 3.5 or pathfinder(mainly do I multiply skill points at 1st level or not and if skills are maxed out at 3+level or at level)
edit: no combination of skills to make perception, athletics, acrobatics and stealth?

Everything in the game is 3.5 rules-wise. Multiply skill points by 4 at level 1.
I) As the mentioned skills are likely to be the MOST used as opposed to least used, [Typically Climb/Jump/Swim and Balance/Tumble see much less use the more magic flies around], and because certain balance testing I did took them as separate, the only skill changes should be the ones listed on the front page.

Was looking over how I could go with my character, and did you mean to give Steam affinity a net +2?

Was looking over how I could go with my character, and did you mean to give Steam affinity a net +2? Doy... Nope. The CHA bonus was a relic of me copying/pasting. The front page is updated.
As a reward for pointing it out when you could have just left it, receive a +1 increase to whatever your CHA ends up as.

Hmm, Genki the very undwarflike dwarf could work as a Radiance affinity Mariner. Probably need to rename him more appropriately as well though. Yes he would be human not a dwarf, I just meant that he was a dwarf by race, despite not being very dwarflike, the last time I wrote him. Also, if you use a theme that this shows up by default, please don't mention it being here.

The Southwestern Shar Isles have their information up now.
Fairly drained after latest exam. I should have most of the other nations up tomorrow.
