On the possibility of an intro game during exams: This and next Saturday have become booked for me so we can compare schedules of 6-7 people, but that seems like it isn't going to work so it's easiest to just start next semester as planned.
(but on the off chance, sunday, monday, tuesday wednesday of next week are good for me given a few days notice)

its only terrible because the alternative is too strong, the pirate archetype for rogue is only slightly weaker that standard rogue (stronger in some ways as it should be). and given that there are 2 archetypes for pirate already, i'm going to say no to corsair

I got bored so here's my character in text form (because neener-neener, I don't believe in online character sheets).
Human Paladin (Hospitaler) 1 Str 14 Dex 10 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 12 Cha 16
HP: 13 AC: 18 (10 + 6 chainmail + 2 Heavy Wooden Shield) Attack: Longsword melee +3 (1d8+2, 19-20/x2)
Skills: Diplomacy (Cha), +7 Sense Motive, +5
Equipment: Chainmail Heavy Wood Shield Longsword Rope, hemp (50ft) Bedroll Rations (1 day) Waterskin Torch x10 3 gp
Saves (F/R/W): +4/+0/+3
SA: Aura of Good (paladin level) Detect Evil (60 ft, or 30 ft cone) Smite 1/day
I have no idea how I actually want to play this character RP-wise, though. Maybe like a Mother Teresa that just happens to wear heavy armour? I know paladins get a lot of flack for pigeon-holing the party into (really) stupid situations so I definitely want to steer clear of that.

well if you went the whole mother teresa approach, or perhaps the "im going to follow these guys cause they cause alot of shit and i need to make sure they dont do anything too stupid" approach, neither puts you in a position of leadership but allows you to do the whole goody two shoes attitude.

Weaknesses/Vulnerabilities: Light Sensitivity. Negative Energy Affinity: Dhampirs are alive, but react to positive and negative energy as if undead—positive energy harms it and negative energy heals it. Spell-Like Abilities: detect undead 3/day (caster level equals the dhampir’s class level.) Resist Level Drain: A dhampir takes no penalties from energy draining effects, though he can still be killed if he accrues more negative levels then he has Hit Dice. After 24 hours, any negative levels a dhampir takes are removed without the need for an additional saving throw.

Yeah, I'll probably just be the party's grandmother. Offering people sweaters and stuff or "you'll catch your death out there". At first I was worried about having to be the party's mouth because I kind of focused on Cha... but Ryan's character has ridiculous cha so I don't need to worry! : D Gasp! If I want to be the party's grandmother, I should put ranks in Craft (Knitting)! And if I wanted to be super gimp, I could also go up an age category or two!

Yeah I changed my mind on this one.. Magus/Assassin doesn't really jive so I'm just gonna go Rogue/Assassin. Think basic ol' hitman/scoundrel, I really wanna steal the hidden blade from Assassin's Creed as well... Here's the statblock:
Rat Neutral Human Rogue
Grew up in a big city fighting for his life every day. part of a gang, but he killed the leader after finding out he was pocketing half of their "job" money for himself. now exiled, he gets by any way he can, often at the expense and pain of others.
HP: 8 Str 10 Dex 16 Con 10 Int 12 Wis 11 Cha 14
I'm really liking the alternative class/race feature stuff in Pathfinder, it really works for uniqueness characterwise. All of our characters are going to be radically differing from eachother, even if we play the same class. Gonna be using the alternative favored class rogue feature for humans, basically instead of getting the +1hp or skill rank for taking levels in rogue I'll get an extra rogue talent at level 6, 12, and 18. As well instead of getting the +1skill point I'm gonna use the alternative human feature Heart of the Streets (+1 reflex/AC when adjacent to two allies, crowds don't count as difficult terrain) Also the Knife Master (1/2 class level to sleight of hand to conceal light blades instead of trapfinding, d8's instead of d6s for sneak attack with certain small weapons but d4s for all other, +1AC vs light weapons/3 levels instead of trap sense) and Scout (charges give sneak attacks replaces uncanny dodge, and instead of imp. uncanny dodge, any time he moves more than 10ft he gets a sneak attack on the first attack)
AC 15 (+2 leather, +3 dex) BAB +0 Fort +0 Ref +5 Will +0
BTW guys dont forget that you get +3 to class skills if you put a point in em!
Skills: Acrobatics 7 Bluff 6 Climb 4 Disguise 6 Escape Artist 7 Knowledge Local 5 Perception 4 Sleight of Hand 7 Stealth 7
Feats: Weapon Finesse (Dex instead of Str for light weapons) Death from Above (+5 to charges from air or higher ground)
Special Abilities: Sneak Attack 1d8 light blades/1d4 +1 to concealing light blades
Rapier +3 1d6 18-20x2 Dagger +3 1d4 19-20x2 Sap +3 1d6 20x2
Also he has two trained Common Rats that know the tricks "Fetch", "Come", and "Track". Their names are Virtue and Depravity. He had a contract to kill their owner for animal abuse, but could only keep the rats or else it would rouse suspicion. They cost 50gp each, and in addition to Rat's weapons and armor leave him with 7gp to his name. He intentionally doesn't have stuff like bedroll and other essentials cause he poor
I had fun building this, I hope this game comes to fruition!

but Ryan's character has ridiculous cha so I don't need to worry! : D On top of that, she's supposed to sorta be a seductress as well, so I have no issue being the voice Also, since I never really gave a backstory, I guess I'll throw one out now. Raia is the daughter of a Vampire father and commoner mother, the mother being seduced by the vampire. The father never returned to the mother after that night, ashamed he had created a being of tainted vampire blood. After the child was born, the mother was horrified at the vampiric features of Raia that she killed herself and left the child alone, where it was found by the village sorcerer, as he felt the child's magical presence. He raised he as his daughter, but when she was 14, she found out the truth, and left the sorcerer, never to see him again. Since her "father" had rarely let her leave the house for fun, she started to enjoy life for the first time, using her looks and natural charm to get her almost whatever she wanted. But secretly, she longs to find her real mother and father, and to ease the pain, she just enjoys to watch the world burn, and enjoys randomly setting fire to things when nobody is looking. For the past 4 years she has worked several odd jobs, such as waitress, bartender, exotic dancer, but never holds down the same job for too long (as typically she burns up the place after an argument with the owner).

House fires are a great way to cover up a clean-out theft of all their valuables. If Rat gets winds of an arson sorceress he's definitely gonna seek her out.
Have you found anything you'd like to play Colin? So far I think we're flat even when it comes to alignment, Lawful Good, Neutral, and some kind of evil.
