It does indeed, sneaky called shots are a good thing.

If I were to make a trip attempt, is it an auto called shot on a leg, or can I not take the -(2+their dex) to hit and treat it like a body shot?

Trip is not a called shot. Normal rules apply, as you are not tripping his leg, you are tripping all of him.

More or less done cept for items. Gave up on harpoons. They were too heavy for my halfling arms. Dirk Olokai Character Sheet BackgroundMany tales are told by those who frequent the inns and taverns of Cliffport and Iron-Shore, where the dregs and lowlifes of society gather to drink and gamble. Favourite among them are the tales of the Fair Spectre, a ship rumoured to appear when the clouds are unfavourable and the stars and moon could not be seen. The Spectre would catch lone ships unawares and in the blink of an eye steal all of the valuables on board. No one could confirm the existence of such a ship, but the evidence was there. A closely guarded secret, the Spectre was the ship of one halfling named Captain Dirk Olokai, one of the two ring leaders behind the mysterious heists. The other, an orc by the name of Numik K'Thok. One could have said that Olokai was the brain behind the attacks, while K'Thok was the brawns, but nothing could be further from the truth: the two covered their tracks well, and no living person today could possibly say such things... none save the crew of the Fair Spectre, the majority of which were orcs and goblins who had fallen out of favour with the law and needed to disappear for a while. Those who joined his crew for temporary reasons, however, often ended up staying. Olokai paid his crew generously, and in exchange he received their fierce loyalty. For years he had everything a sea-fearing rogue could want. He awoke one night to the shouts of fire. Everything that happened next was a blur. His partner in crime had betrayed him. All the treasures in the vault, gone. All the plans he had drawn up for the next few months, gone. The two faced off on the Spectre's flaming deck, but the battle was one-sided. Olokai fell to the ground, hands clutched around the right of his face. The orc mentioned something about the captain going down with his ship, but the the halfling couldn't hear him over the cries of his dying ship. The last thing he saw was K'Thok jumping onto a rowboat. They found him on the shores of Hikoto, his arms clutching on to a wooden plank from the side of his ship. Parts of his right arm and the right side of his face were burnt beyond repair. It took ages for him to recover, but when he did, one thing was on his mind: revenge. But knew he had to be patient. He had no money, no allies, and (more importantly) no ship. Yes, it would take ages to rebuild the awesome lifestyle he once had. But he would do it. One plank at a time.

As the lone city slicker, I still can't wait 'til we hit a city, or a plains, or a somewhere where I'm useful for something other than parrying hits

You did tank like a king, and provide a fine flanking ally if used as such. Bit much with the talking over me and the girls though, next game try to avoid that a bit.
Side note, damn I mean low damage output but you really do tank like a king, we will see how you handle foes with tools and numbers though, not just monkeys.

Heh, yeah, sorry, I was super hyped up yesterday, I had a ton of sugar that day, if you noticed by the end of the night I crashed out a bit. Again, sorry, I meant to apologize as I was leaving but I rushed out to catch the bus. Hopefully I'll tone it down the next time >.> And yeah, he's built to tank, but apparently he can't dps at the same time lol.
Edit: As an aside, I find I typically get too into my characters when playing DnD, so if I sound like I'm generally being annoying with the party, it's probably in character and I don't mean it :/

You are like my hero now. I feel the need to finish naming everything just so you can feel them in, maybe adding the details to each city as well!
