You had better do it sneakily, then.

Totally not right beside you, that's for damn sure. Also, while I won't be able to prove it, if my varren suddenly turns up murdered, it really wouldn't be that much of a leap to assume it was the vorcha with a grudge against varrens.
Just sayin'.

Can I be a Reaper?

So, here is what Tareq wants to do: he wants to spend his four feats, as a human, to unlock N7 Slayer abilities, which, in short, is the ability to teleport, as of the Teleport ability, a distance equal to his basic move speed, and have the Turnabout (which is the same as flyby/moveby) feat for this ability. The way I figure it is: 2pp = 2 feats, thus teleport is totally allowed in the power range, and makes sense in the fluff. 1 feat to add turnabout. 1 feat because it is an out of the ordinary power, and reduce the teleport from 100ft to 60ft because it isn't an ordinary power.
This seem reasonable, or am I missing something? Especially for a biotic class. I would even go as far as to say that this should only cost three feats.
And thus did Dane end his speech of awesomeness at four in the morning when he should be reading a book for a class that is now in less than 12 hours.
Other than that this would be Vanguard.

masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_3_Multiplayer/Character_Customization/Vanguard#N7_Slayer_VanguardThat is the class Tareq wants to play. It's a DLC class for the multiplox. I have no fucking idea how they teleport, I'm gonna be honest, and nobody in this room is able to find the fluff that explains it, buuuuuut, they totally did put that in the game, so, like, I dunno. They are seriously awesome, though. They can teleport through walls and up walls and holy shit they're awesome. Also, they have a sword and a phantom Iron Man hand blaster. They also carry guns. They just don't give a shit, really. Personally, I would totally let him have it, just cus, like I said, holy shit so awesome.

the one problem i could see with this is they may not exist yet in the mass effect universe(or are still considered secret enough that alliance military will not part with one of them)

Perhaps a restriction on the use of these powers in order to maintain their secrecy? A fluff reason to limit the use of the teleportation device?

Teleportation is one of the biggest game killers out there. It makes designing missions very difficult because any obstruction can be easily bypassed.

Short answer no. I have HAD some one use a power like what you are talking about in a Mutants and Masterminds game before, and it borked everything. (yes borked so broken it broke the word). Like I made him stop playing and took a long hard look at the system after that. So ya, not happening. Stick to Biotic Charge, it's scary enough.
Edit: Though that player was Q, the point stands.

What exactly did he do that fucked everything up so royally? I could certainly see why it would break things out of combat; no wall would be effective anymore. In combat, though, would it be as bad?
Not questioning your judgment so much as just trying to understand it, btw.
