Watching of the evil eye
Our adventures were summoned by the Order of the Silver Mace (SM) to help them destroy a evil creatures that is causing havoc in the lower tier. They had been that there were 4 separate locations that needed to be attack within a small time period. They were being recruited to attack one of the locations since SM did not have enough of a military group to perform the task themselves.
As they entered the deep underground tunnels they encountered bone devils, a seriously damaged colossal golem, a gargoyle that enjoyed to fetch, a chest with viscous teeth and finally the Evil eye with executioner hoods as protectors. Though the battles were tough, and they didn't quite understand why/how the golem had arrived to such a place, the heroes were able to defeat the Evil Eye in time and thereby protecting the city from an unknown threat.
As a reward, they were each presented with a Albative Thimble and a Purity Bowl.
John and David received influence points. Sky druid Alex has used his resurrection token. Alchemist Alex now has a treasure chest mimic that he keeps as a pet - it does not participate in combat but does not attack Alex since he feeds it. John has a Disaster egg - useless by itself but looks cool. Emily and Apples (Matt) were there and had fun.
Ablative Thimble
This small silver thimble looks unremarkable. If magic is detected on the item then it will have an aura of abjuration magic.
Each day this thimble will absorb up to 40 hit points of piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage. The thimble does not absorb damage from spell or spell-like affects. The damage can come from multiple sources and the wearer can choose whether the damage is absorbed or not. When worn the thimble attaches itself to the wearer so that it will not fall off during normal movement, but it can be removed by the wearer or others easily.
Purity Bowl
A common-looking wooden bowl (made of wood from a sacred grove) with a blessing for health and plenty carved along the inside edge in ancient Ersic. Any food or liquid placed in this bowl, whether rancid or poisoned, is made edible as per the spell purify food and drink.
