Preamble:
As some players have asked for a little crossover between DMs, and since I am unsure of how much DMing I'll actually be able to do, I'll be publishing my material for anyone to use, so long as they inform the rest of us as to major changes, such as defeated bosses, etc. This should be especially helpful for people that suddenly need to run something without time for major material preptime. In the case of dungeons, I shall leave the major contextual ideas, and everything that can be used without worrying about CR, as well as generate a sample loadout of the location, treasurewise and monsterwise.
If I could reliably generate maps the same way I can do by hand, I would also attach them. As I cannot, I shall provide classical dimensioning on everything.
Introduction and premise:
The Frostfire temple is an three-level elemental-themed location, set in an area caught in conflict between cold, icy water, and heated steam.
The dungeon contains a puzzle structure consisting of alterable water levels and heat levels, that restrict passage and which must be taken through certain orders to path through parts of the dungeon, and set to specific levels in order to be able to access important places in the dungeon. Since this is intended for single-session runs and multi-person use, the system and attached puzzles have been greatly simplified from their original conception.
For these reasons, the majority of the dungeon works best before PCs have access to easily-sustained, long duration flight and other special movement abilities, but certain sections are setup for an intended return visit.
