These are the notes from the dm meeting for reference or those who missed it
-2 games a week: Sunday 5:00 and Wednesday 6:00 (6:30 start)
- DMs should show up early on Sundays for brief meetings
-The first game is wednesday the 21st, and the last game of the semester will be Dec 4
-Second semester games start on Jan 4, and the last game of the year and final boss fight, will be on Apr 1.
-The year will be divided into quarters:
1) Monster of the Week, getting used to the game concept
2) (Big Bad, finished by christmas) Neogi want the ship and have the ability to follow it. Each Dm gets a Neogi captain to cause problems. Captains will be killed on first after christmas
3) Monster of the week. By the end introduce demons following demogorgon, who will be the Big Bad for the year. Dms should start using demons of their choice. (possesion rules in fiendish codex)
4) Parties now know whats up, and that the ship has been training them to stop demogorgon.
-Each day the ship will be in a system with a group of planets, and each system will have a very standard planet. The system will change every 4 sessions, and there will be a total of about 25 planets. we will go to all the planets first semester, then visit them all again second semester
-Buyback for items is 80% (instead of 50%)
-Items are upgraded by paying the difference in the costs, instead of selling and buying it again
-Crystals can be used to upgrade items (using "ancient" bonus). These cant be bought but can be given out by DMs
-Players will receive a minimum of 80% of the maximum reward for each mission
-the maximum reward for each mission is based on expected wealth per level
-DMs can give extra rewards, but these can't have a gold value, and thus cant be sold.
-Players will also receive an exp reward for each mission, this exp cant be spent on anything with an exp cost except leveling up.
-Characters cannot craft, but can buy scrolls.
-character stats are 32 point buy and max HP, standard starting wealth by level, starting at level 3.
-Allowed books, if not listed, players must ask:
