Saturday the 10th Charity Game Day Now this is an idea we have been tossing around for a while and sadly it has not picked up as much as I would like. Even now I have no clue how many of you plan on coming out to this. I have plans for events from Saturday 8pm, till Sunday 8am, much fun to be had. We will have a room open for any board games you want to bring, we will have tables for magic, as well as free 'gifts' and starter decks for new players. We will have a large warhammer table set up for any and all players, as well as a number of rooms being set up and run by the anime club, they will be showing a number of things through out the night. We are also open to ideas you have, or would like to run. The event it self will be free, but we hope to get a few donations for the super awesome people at www.childsplaycharity.org/ We will be hosting this event next year, but on a much larger scale, this is being done as a sort of beta for the real thing, so we want to know what you think and if there is anything you think we should change. This will be hosted in the student center, we plan on getting a number of smaller rooms, likely taking up a good chunk of the second/third floor.

This post is now going to be revived We shall name this event MTG McMaster: The Gathering it shall be a convention of epic badass proportions there will be booths about gaming, about movies, about anime (we should DEFS get those kids involved lol) and for Child's Play? 100% worthy cause.
Therefore, team awesome, I hereby declare that ideas must flow forth for the kind of awesome things we can do. Obviously we need terrain for a HUGE 40K megabattle, something set up for short D&D encounters, like an intro kinda thing, so that people can just walk by and try things out. Magic can also be done in this sense, where attendees can get involved.
Get cracking team!
