One shot weekend 2012 tenative schedule
Premise: The One-Shot weekend is a two day event in which friends get to play and run “one off” RPG
games for 3 to 4 hour games. It’s intended for ST’s to run those random ideas which are too easy for a
campaign but too much fun to ignore, and gives players a chance to try some new games which they
normally wouldn’t get to play.
Room requirements/layout: The plan is to have three conference rooms allowing three games to be
played simultaneously at a time allowing a potential player pool of 15-24 to be served at any given
time. Signup sheets will allow players to book into the games they are most interested in in advance.
Ideally the events will run for two days, Saturday/Sunday, 10-12 hours each day, broken into time slots
of approximately 3-4 hours a piece with a 1 hour break for between games which *can* be used if
the games run late. Thus the entire convention will have having a possible 15 time slots. The LARPs
are intended to be larger and could take two or three the slots as all three rooms would be in use to
accommodate a larger audience. Note: These LARPs are not a “boffer larp” and would not involve any
actual violence or physical activity more strenuous than a loud argument.

Firefly: Shooting Stars
GM: Owen Robinson
Players: 4 to 6
System: D20
Plot: This here’s a recipe for unpleasantness. It seemed like easy credits. All Captain Malcolm Reynolds

goes as smoothly as a body would like. Soon the law, the Alliance and plenty of folk were involved. It
seemed as if all the dang-nabbed stars in the verse were shooting at the crew of the Serenity, and then
it turned out...they were.

the worst that Mankind has to offer, stalking the alleys and crumbling buildings of a place called Blue
City. Is it a dream? Is it a nightmare? Or is it just a game? And are you already playing?
GM's note: Lacuna is like Inception, mixed with Brazil, and directed by Cronenberg.
