Hello everyone, Ben here. I just want to let everyone know that a convention known as 31st annual MIGSCON is going to be held next weekend (that is 15, 16, and 17). It is a miniature war gaming convention, with a focus on Historical games, but there are few non-historical games that will be held.
The following link is the home page of the convention with all info needed, but for those to lazy to click the link (I feel your pain :] ), the convention is held at the Royal Canadian Legion 163, found on 435 Limeridge Road East (right across the street from Limeridge mall, on the escarpment). There is a fee to enter (Friday & Sunday = 5$, Saturday = 20$, and All weekend = 25$), but you can play as many or as few games you'd like.
There will be a number of vendors hawking their wares, as it were. Additionally, on Saturday there will be a bring and buy, where one can buy items that other convention goers are wanting to sell.
All the information can be found on the website. As a side note, if your a miniature player or a board game player, check out the MIGS club site (link is available on the Convention page). The website is pretty outdated, but does give an overview and the location of the club. If someone is interested in MIGS (Military Interest & Gaming Society), send me a message, and I'll give you a more apt idea of the club. I myself have been a member of MIGS for the last 4-5 years, and we are always looking for new people.
