Hello everyone,
I will be running a game for the club sometime soon. I maybe starting in the summer, but more likely I will be running it weekly/bi-weekly during the school... maybe both.
Anyway, I will be using the Mutants and Master Minds 2ed rule set for this game. I am looking for 4 to 8 players and they do not need to be there EVERY time.
Ok, so this one I may well try and start in the summer. I am going to poke about the rules books a bit more but sticking with PL10, and I love what I have seen so far.
Thinking on it I am going to go with homebrew.
Setting: The City of Prime, it is a grand city in up state new york, one with many heroes and villains over the years. More than most Prime has been known for drawing attenuation from other worlds, dimensions and simply other nations. Though for the last thirty years the city has been kept safe by The League of Defence. A mighty team of super heroes lead by Captain Prime himself, a powerful hero who feels strongly about justice.
That is, until six weeks ago when Doctor Destroyer used his Death-bot army. Now, The League of Defence was able to stop him, and even arrested Doctor Destroyer.. but at great cost. Many of the League were slain, and others faced Doctor Destroyer 'De-powering Ray' removing their powers and making the heroes just normal folks.
Only Captain Prime, now powerless remains on the League, and he is 83 years old. With no hope of protecting the city alone he has set out to rebuild the league by finding reformed villains, young super people and those who may not understand their gifts. (that's you)
The history of Prime City, and the world around it is much like our own, only the rise of the super hero was not something found in comic books there as it was here.... there they were real... atomic power made supermen, and aliens really did join Hitler..... so on so forth.
(This setting allows magic, Mutant [as per X-men], Aliens, Super tech, deities, and conflicting sources of power.)
Anyone who is interested should say something here, I am also happy to listen to ideas as well.

I have been wanting to play this game for some time. As for setting I don't know much about the marvel setting so I don't mind playing in it. So either marvel or homebrew will be new for me.
I will be availiable in Hamilton 3 days a week for games until August 5 (taking prerequisite course for an technical elective I would like to take) on days:
Availiable on Tuesdays anytime Monday and Wendsday I have evening classes going from 6:00pm till 10:00pm

I'd just like to say that Jump from the Freedom City setting has Nightcrawler's teleportation powers and is just under PL10. Nightcrawler would need a few more points for Additional Limbs, which puts him at low to mid PL10.

Also, I'm working on 'Indestructo' (the group tank) on the side. I already built him for PL7, and I'll probably have him built for PL10 before the night is done. Anyone who wants a look can bug me for him. INDESTRUCTO HAS BEEN COMPLETED. He's like a cheesy Frankenstein Monster made of steel: He's ridiculously easy to hit and ridiculously hard to hurt. He'll have a hard time hitting you but if he does then he'll hug you to death. He's 8 feet tall, possesses and INT score of 4 and put only 2 power points into his skills.

I'm thinking about making an electricity/data character that can hack/communicate with computers.

Eh, a good characterization for him might be 'big friendly oaf who just wants a hug but destroys almost everything he touches'.
As for you.....you'll want Comprehend(Electronics), Datalink with the Machine Control power feat and Electrical Control (which isn't one power as much as an array of normal powers with the electric descriptor applied to them)

To shift back, must bleed off excess electrical current either into his capacitor at home or into a giant bolt of lightning that is very noticeable (Blast 10, line, fatiguing, 3 full round actions to prepare)
I'm just below 150 pp, at 143. How many pp do I need for some power legs that allow him to walk as well as maybe jump?

Gadget with a movement thing and a jump thing should do it... could go as low as one or two ranks.

So....the setting. Marvel or homebrewed? If it's Marvel, then I'll have a better excuse for having getting a costume that works like Banshee's (because I would've had the opportunity to meet Banshee), but then playing an expy of Banshee in the Marvel universe feels kind of odd. Tesla Capacitor: 3 rank device. Restricted: requires power source normally provided by the immense residual energy in the sparks body, but it's modified to absorb electrical current at a distance. Requires 1 full recharge per day from a significantly large energy source (blast 10 equivalent or a bolt of goddamn lightning, equivalent to 1 tera watt. Eg a coal power plant makes 600 mega watts a day. This thing needs juice)
Boost Speed 1 Boost Leaping 3 Protection 4 Immunity to electrical damage.
Comes in a bit under cost so I want it to be his wheelchair too.kinda like a battlesuit i guess but not really. He can walk fine in energy form but if he needs to move fast and theres no current around, the wheel chair can turn into legs!
