Influence will be awarded by DMs for exceptional roleplaying in the club game. These points can be assigned to any of the following NPCs, and represent your support for those NPCs, increasing their influence. [It has be raised that the use of influence is unclear, so I will explain: if you have an influence point, you spend it once to support one of the characters listed below. The name of the DM which runs each character is listed in [square brackets] and the name of the faction the NPC is associated with is listed in (brackets). By giving influence to a character, you will change that character in the world. If a character receives very little influence it will weaken that character. Basically: give influence to the character you like, and see what happens. This isn't a science, and every DM will interpret influence slightly differently. I hope this clears things up.] Note: NPCs are listed in order of relative influence on the world.

The Twelve (15)
The New Embassies:
Shadow Embassy; Calypsis, the Hanged Angel: The Shadow embassy is more virulent a wound on the world than its predecessor. Unlike Alistair's breed of evil, which was contained in itself, which existed because laws kept it in place, the Shadow embassy is a free evil. The creator of this blight, the heir to Alistair's power, is Calypsis the Hanged Angel, a woman of dark beauty, with black-feathered wings and the scars of a hanging traced around her fine neck. The shadow of her embassy grows, killing plant life where the light is choked away by its presence, and soon the shadow will reach the grave of the fallen king of the Neutral City, and if not stopped, the golem itself. Alistair's failure, like so many of the catch 22s of Devils, has resulted in a deeper evil seating itself within arms reach of the guild.
Dark-sun Embassy; Persephone, the Treacherous Light: Amitiel's retirement, prompted by the agreement between the Brass and Crystal embassies allowing the other to exist, is based in the absence of the opposing evil. Her leaving though was not to allow the fall of the forces of good. She has been replaced by a creature of more suspect means, a creature, that while good of nature, cares little for the tools she uses in the destruction of evil. Though a source of light in the world, Persephone's light is treacherous to those who hold it aloft.
James "Strange" Weather: James Strange, or Strangeweather, is a man of means within the neutral city. He is the CEO of EGA under the presidency and ownership of Tom Wulfe: he has recently been fired from this position in a very public ceremony, Tom Wulfe stripping him of right and title. Nevertheless, Strange's ambitions are little hindered. He is the master of Warehouse 13, and owner of the giant lightning rod of a tower he calls Thirteenth Watch. Strange is plagued by all types of luck, bad and good, and his presence in the neutral city seems to have created a lasting thundershower: it has not stopped raining for weeks. Those in Strange's favour seem to be spared the damp and the rain of the environment, the water parting around them in a visible sheet.
Doyle: This man is a dark-cloaked Dwarf. His ambitions are unknown, but he stays out of neutral-city business for the most part, preferring to further his goals in his own land.
The Rotating Seat (Svirfneblin Exterminators): Not so much a person, as an organization the Rotating Seat is held by the subterranean Svirfneblin who live to hold back the hordes of underdark and protect the surface. Though, their goal is closer to status quo than war, as such they are happy to work with anyone.
Gleebones Lemontwigs: This man is a gnomish fellow with bright colored tastes and a love for public works as well as charity. He also happened to be a skilled nercomancer working to make a better face for his craft and get public acceptance.
Maitilde Carebetter: This 68 year old female halfling is a paladin of some power, but at her age she has become more of a leader and a healer than anything else. It is Matti who supplies the cities orphanages, schools and many charities. She never condones blood shed, but understands that some times it happens, and will forgive anyone with a good heart.
Daewyn:Like most followers of Alexia she is soft on the outside but hard as stone underneath. Others tend see her friendly attitude as a weakness, while she wields it like a weapon. Alexians believe that without those who are weak or seek to undermine the stability of the Dwarven nations, it will naturally reach a state of peace and prosperity. As such while Alexians seek to eliminate conflict in all forms, they also are not above enforcing slavery of lesser species, even Dwarves like the Deurgar.
Karbaros: Known only by his first name, Karbaros is a member of The Dirge which is an assassins guild based in the Republic of Dreistiones. Karbaros is motivated to create political tensions and encourage warfare whenever he can to keep a steady flow of assassination jobs for The Dirge. His experience regarding assassination methods and techniques have allowed him to acquire and defend his seat on the council.
Kimzhan: Little is known about this strange figure. He holds power and contention to others of power such as the Brass Embassy.
Vorus Eralon: Not truly one of the twelve yet, this man seeks a place among them. Originating from the Gouros Empire, Parius has only recently "joined" the council shortly after the beginning of the Chronia invasion by the Gouros empire a few months ago.
Little Voice: This slender and graceful elf has probably the most wonderful singing voice you've ever heard, and always speaks in sing-song. She represents the Druids of the Vale for the Voice, who is the leader of her commune. She values nature and harmony. Also uses the royal we a lot.
Rothschild: A scheming and ambitious half-elf son of the Rothschilds, the largest merchant family in Velen. He has plans to increase his families wealth and power, and is taking a much more active role in family affairs now that his father is growing older.
House Royal Reagent: A shorter and more cruel looking elf, his fortunes have only recently turned. When his brother, the king, died he took the reigns from the Queen when she was in her panic room. He now has approximately 65% control of the nobles of Velen, causing him to have a pretty decent case for remaining in charge of the country until the oldest Prince's birthday (later this year). Whether he will give up the crown is a separate matter entirely, and worries the Queen very much. He is a man quite similar to his brother and very set in his ways; he has his own ethics and lets no one violate them.
Retired:
The Steward of Services: Tom Wulfe [Dane] +12 [100%]
The Steward of Services, Tom Wulfe: This man is charged with tending the needs of the twelve. Acting as a simple balancing factor to keep the twelve from openly doing battle with each other, while servicing as needed. He is aged beyond the years reasonable for a human male. He has a long white beard, a white cloak, and a white staff. For those able to see beyond the veil of living beings, the appearance of a white hawk, Tom's spirit animal, is not uncommon.
Amitiel (Stewardess of the Crystal Embassy) +4
Amitiel: Amitiel is a dear friend to Matilda Carebetter but while they both love peace and hate the ugliness of war this archon will willing wade waist deep in to a blood melee swinging her two hand sword cleaving the heads from her foes if she sees a need for it.
Those who have fallen:
Alistair (Lord of the Brass Embassy) Struck down, his contracts faded with him. A loophole allowed his soul to be spared, but Alistair is working off the debt owed by him to his superiors in hell and will be for the foreseeable future.
Alistair Lord of the Brass Embassy: Embassy details
Mixalaus: Right hand man of the Dwarven High King of Alexia, capital city of the Dwarven nations, and direct descendant of Hephaestus. This man is ruthless in his goal of uniting dwarf kind through traditional values.
Illias: Trusted companion and friend of the direct descendant of the eldest son of Anteus. Holds the position as a personal favor because while he lives by the strict code of a paladin, he is capable of getting things done regardless. He and those he represents see the best change for a strong Dwarven nation in strong allies across the continent, abundant trade and openness to foreign values.
The Neutral King, Sigfried White-Raven: This man is legitimately the ruler of the neutral city, though in truth most think of him as less than a member of the twelve and the man in charge of local affairs but little else. His family was once very powerful, but he is the heir to a failing throne. Despite this, in the inner city Sigfried is known to have powers beyond those of the council. Though each year the powers of the White-Raven line diminish, he copes well with his ailing empire. Having no heirs of his own, his death means the end of the White-Raven dynasty. The nearest family to the throne after his death are the Blood-Ravens, but guild politics keep them from ascending. For all intents and purposes, at the time of his death the Neutral city falls under council, and therefore, guild control.
Mr. Ventris: Little is known about this man's master asides from his being a force of order with less than righteous methods. When asked about his death, many inquired: "The bad smelling rat person?"
