So I've felt over the last two months that the club game works really well for playing a lot of D&D fairly consistently with a larger number of people, but not as well for really role playing per se. So I was wondering how much interest there is in me running a fairly standard Pathfinder/3.5 game once a week. I want to DM for this game and work with a playgroup of 4 or 5 to come up with something that feels more fulfilling to role play and have a world that all the players remember and such. It might be good to have a mix of people who have actually played campaigns instead of just the club game and people who's only D&D experience is the club game. I think that no matter how much you try you can't get the immersiveness of a 5 person campaign with the club game, which doesn't mean it isn't fun or worthwhile just that I think we could use something else on the side (and I didn't get to play in low to no ). If you want in or have suggestions chime in here. First come first served in terms of making a party.

I could play if it was a Fri/Sat/Mon thing and I have enough character ideas to play whatever the party needs.

Hey
I'd be interested in playing as well. When were you thinking about starting the game? I have a few ideas of characters as well (actually, I have a character for each position in a standard group).
For this term, just not Tuesday and Wednesday cause I have class. And Sunday I would like to keep playing in the club.

I'd like to play.
Really curious what an actual campaign one's like.

I doubt i would have the time to do both this and the standard pathfinder game we have been doing, i am curious though, what are some of the differences between pathfinder and 5th edition?

I disagree mostly(70%) about the lack of rp in the club game.
That said i've been thinking of running a separate game, though i'd be up for playing in one too.

I want to play! Role playing is my thing, been trying my best to do it in the club game but it's much harder than normal lol.
I'm really only consistently free monday nights (and I guess thursday nights if we start next semester)
Oh and John, if you're going to do this you can't do any of that sadistic DM crap you've been doing for our club game. This has to be just as fun, if not more for the players than for the DM. Also you need to be committed to this and come to every session since you're going to be the one and only DM (again, unlike how you've been doing club games)
also, check messages

Pathfinder is a d&d 3.5 variant released by a third party that fixes many of the issues that people had with the original system. Most of the rules are available online if you search "pathfinder srd".
